The Trail Blazers would cap off a perfect, undefeated December with a win over the jazz. The jazz fought tough and won the game 99-91. Carlos Boozer led the way with 27 points in a great jazz win.

Cal found themselves down bad in the 1st quarter, but one the put in freshman Kevin Riley he was lights out. Riley threw 4 TD's and the bears beat air Force with a final score of 42-36. Riley was he player of the game as cal wins their first armed forces bowl.
